Democrats it seems would support and align with human sacrifice if it increased their voter base. Any means to their "Utopian" (dystopian) end is acceptable.
People will accept and support anything with enough propaganda.
According to a classic textbook on the history of the American gay rights movement: VICTORY - the Triumphant Gay Revolution (2012) by journalist Linda Hirshmann both Bill and Hillary were allies of the LGBT community going back to the early 1980 and supporters of the gay rights movement.
Look, people need to just get over this gay marriage thing and move on. There is about an equal chance of it being reversed as African-Americans being returned to slavery.
Don't know why so many feel the need to fight for the honor of marriage, I mean it isn't as if straight persons in recent memory have held that institution in such great esteem.
More than half of the marriages in USA in recent years ended in divorce. Adultery rates have also skyrocketed. All this when persons bother to get married at all. God's death; a divorced man with two wives living has just been elected as POTUS.
One thing which is fluid in this country is civil rights, same across the globe. Once people attain their civil and human rights, the genie doesn't go back in the bottle unless a police state is imposed (like Jim Crow, or Nazism). Gay marriage isn't going anywhere as long as we remain a democracy, abortion rights either.

People lose civil rights and status too and they usually don't get them back without an armed conflict. Calling a stupid coupling trying to get government benefits and full social acceptance a civil right is a joke.

The Supreme Court disagrees, and your line of thought is outdated. You don't have to accept it, but there's nothing you can do about it. Social progress always moves forward.
I don't care what happens in people's bedrooms. Marriage isn't about what happens in the bedroom, it's a scared religious ceremony that has been practiced for thousands of years.
Now that the state stepped in on this, why cannot several hundred consenting women marry some rich guy? Or are you going to deflect the question again?
A whole lot of straight couples in 2016 would not agree with you that marriage. is a sacred religious ceremony.
Nobody is forcing you to marry anybody.. If two people want the benefits of marriage let them have it. They will learn the misery of divorce also.....
