It’s also gonna be the generation that ushers in gun control. I hope you’re around to see it.

Is it just/fair? Nope. I'll stick with the conservative's argument used to talk about taxes. Suck it up buttercup, life is never ever fair.
Slavery was a law. Was that fair?

If you confiscate, forced buyback or ban my legally obtained property without due process and for crime other people committed, how is that moral, just or fair in any way?

I think I would "ban" AR-15s the same way other items are "banned." (Why are we using quote marks?) Bombs and grenades are "banned." Rocket launchers are "banned." I'd include automatic and semi-automatic firearms in those "bans."
Because a actual ban means all of them. The ban before was a "ban" because it didn't. If that makes sense. They were renamed and still sold. That doesn't sound like a ban to me.

I want to cut social security while we're at it. Lowers my taxes, I don't want to pay social welfare for people who can't save money throughout their life or are lazy!!

What increase are you promoting? We already have a NIC process.

Or heck can you kill 55 people in a matter of 10 minutes?

If I own a RPG and shoot it at a crowd, I can obliterate them in SECONDS. Somehow, your brain doesn't process the different levels of destruction involved.
Really you think a gun is the only way that can be done. A lot of people got killed at the World Trade Center by use of an aircraft. Pretty sure terrorist use bombs for mass killings too.

Are you going to use the same argument when slavery was about to be outlawed?

You are right he killer did use a flamethrower and in total 11 people died. What stopped the killer was the fact he ran out of fuel for his flamethrower.

Now had the killer used an AR-15 instead he could he hauling anywhere from 300 to 600 rounds of ammo. Most likely the death count would have been much higher then 11. Being that the killer was a grown man with military training attacking children in a crowded school.
