My goodness ..... are you implying that Mexico is a less than desirable place to live?

President Trump did that recently and got a lot of grief for it.

If I sell illicit drugs to obtain money for my family can I be excused because my family would be better off with the increased revenue I'd bring in?

Be careful with all that.

If I was a German Jew and sold drugs or stolen items to pay to escape I would have little trouble. And if the cops came for you in that situation I see no moral reason that you would not off a few cops if you could.

Now you are a poor Mexican with a couple of kids and things are not going well and there is not enough money to feed the kids properly and there is no local relief available so you jump the border to your brother's place in LA. I certainly would. Sometimes you have to do things you do not approve of but lack a reasonable alternative.

And i have no particular problem with ICE picking the family up and shipping them back. We are not chartered to relieve all the world's problems. But i hope we will be as human as possible about it.

The pinwheel out of Austin, has been there since the 1890's.

The Democrats held power as Texas gained seats

Republicans holding Texas have gained 2 seats

But the Clinton wing and its successors are no where near way left.
You think the libertarians are to the left of Democrats? Or to the right of Republicans? I guess you know very little of what the Libertarians stand for.

I think that is where all the people who said they were going to leave the US (if Trump won the election), avoided saying they would move to, so that must be what they think of Mexico. They all promised to move to Canada. Like all other liberals, they broke their promise.

You try. I know a great deal about Libertarian. In some areas I am one. But not in others. In fact you cannot place Libertarian on the same axis as Republicans and Democrats. So what do you suggest we do with them? The question was left of the Democrats. And certainly on some issue they are.

On balance the libertarians would likely fall somewhere in between. Socially liberal, Financially conservative, puts them, on balance, somewhere in the middle.

Bovine Excrement.

They have a few good issues and a number outside of weird. That does not map to anything in the middle. in fact it does not map to anything on earth or even in these dimensions.

When CNN criticizes the dems you know it’s bad!

“The reality is that Democrats chose protections for recipients of DACA over funding the government. They will have to explain that to the American People”
