DACA recipients cannot be convicted of a felony and still be considered a DACA recipient. So ALL illegals in the prison statistics are NOT DACA recipients... .they've lost their eligibility.

I've even had posters responding to me insisting that DACAs are US Citizens. The widespread ignorance is astounding.

DACAs are illegal aliens, and are counted as such. There has been NO legal change to their immigration or citizenship status. Their deportation is only temporarily delayed via political "policy," NOT law.
Do you understand that? They're neither legal residents of the US nor legal immigrants.
That is why I am no longer a Democrat. They constantly show us that the workers that built their Party do not count. Americans do not count.
And, yes, wages are all about supply and demand. The liberals love to talk about minimum wages; but they want the wage pool flooded with cheap labor. Employers will always find a way to work around paying premium pay to any employees - if they have an out.
To further complicate the problem is automation knocking at our doors. One third of our jobs could disappear in the next couple decades. We keep hearing over and over again how much we depend on this illegal immigration and the figures and expectations do not bear that out. Mechanical pickers are doing more of the harvesting everyday. Computers are taking over in restaurants and any and everyplace employers can save money.
The Democrats cannot face the idea of improving America. They cannot face a lower tax bill or more jobs; they prefer misery so that can make promises they will never deliver. America notices that they prefer illegal immigrants to the voters that actually voted them into office!
