The Golden Rule.

For angry pseudo-christians, it only applies one way.

"It's better to receive than to give."

hate the sin, love the sinner. but it seems people are missing the point here, not unusual for those that believe is social justice and all that rot.

when we accept things that go against the laws of god, we cheapen life, and then we get intolerance from people who claim to be the tolerant ones. we accepted abortion rights under roe v wade with limitations back then, today we have people pushing for what is essentially a post birth abortion, better known as infanticide.

as is written, woe to those that call the evil good and the good evil.

They aren't that far off.

I believe the ONLY problem that most Republicans had with Westboro is their anti-patriotism and their decision to use military funerals as their platform. Westboro had been around for a long time before that and you never heard a peep out of people when they were just protesting AIDS victims and LGBTQ-themed events. In fact my pastor when I was growing up actually praised them once and in Sunday school recommended everyone go to their website to laugh at the GIF of Matthew Shepard burning in hell.

So is this:

Romans 1:24-27 24: Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-who is forever praised. Amen. 26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

There a million things in the bible that contradict. Cherry picking will get you whatever you want it to say.

He hasn't been a politician with voters in quite a while.

He is now a talking head. I wonder whether he's been losing audience share lately, and needs to goose his numbers.

Sex should occur only in the context of marriage. In fact, the faithfulness to which we are called in marriage anticipates the marriage of the church body of Christ (i.e., the redeemed; i.e., believers) to Christ Himself. All human relationships are inferior to our own relationship with God. It is of great comfort to me to live knowing that I am not my own but that I belong to the One who purchased me through His holy blood - that is, Jesus.

Initially, this was a hard doctrine to accept. Now, I will not put up with anyone who teaches a false gospel that affirms homosexuality.
Hmmm. Your change began about 3 months ago?

It will be interesting to hear what you think 5 years from now. I hope you'll keep us posted.
