I don't think this is true, it seems to me that there is very little support for Hubbard's inclusion in the team, within NZ.
Is it big news Joe? I know this bloke has been competing in the womens events for quite a while so it isn't a revelation to the community, but is it causing disquiet? Or is Jacinda tamping that down?
Several good friends of ours that are lesbians say that in their mainstream world, transgenders are the ones who hate women and are ruining all the work that they have done to gain acceptance
I doubt some of these people are even real transgenders. They are just pretending to be so they can screw the system much like someone who acts like they are injured so they can get a nice paycheck. This is why transgenders should be against this as well because it's going to ultimately hurt them in the end.
No....not a random dude. But a dude who has trained in his sport, practiced for years, and still come in dead last on a men’s team. He would be the winner on a female team.
Why do you think there are no female NFL players? MLB players? Because when you get to the top echelon of any sport, NO woman in the world could make the cut when competing against the top men.
Uh, this is not entirely true. Men and women compete against eachother all the time in the equestrian games and both have as much advantage over the other. Women can actually have an edge because they are lighter and more flexible and easier for the horse to carry than a man who could be 50 to 100 pounds heavier.

If they don't randomly draw horses I would argue which has the more athletic job?

In my view a biological male transgender competing in woman's sports is about as fair as Lance Armstrong was winning the Tour de France.

Your example is not very relevant because it does not apply to many / most sports.

It's very relevant. I was responding to this particular quote

which I pointed out was not completely accurate. Is a female equestrian any less of an athlete than say any of the boating sports, or luge or bobsledding? It still takes a lot of athleticism to stay on and control a 1200 pound animal that can pull 5000 pounds itself. One good fall can seriously injure or kill a rider. Just look what happened to Christopher Reeves.
