They get a rush out of bullying and posturing, but that is as far as they'll go.
This thread is certainly quite confusing...
if I'm not mistaken, Kev is a big supporter of Dems, Obama, liberals, etc yet he is citing the Bush doctrine (sorry Kev if I have you pegged wrong but that is what I recall from reading earlier posts of yours)

and...
conservatives are labled as right wing terrorists, they are called cowards and said to get a rush out of bullying and posturing on this forum.
Yet if you read back through the months of posts on CD, it's the liberals who have insulted and attempted to demonize the conservatives who support the tea parties, object to the proposed govt policies, etc.

The world is indeed topsy turvy.

So if one is a liberal and doesn't like what the govt is doing, their actions are OK cuz they won't stop at "that is as far as they'll go" - they will go all the way cuz liberals are not cowards and weaklings ---- and that is OK?

Oh my.

The FBI and the CIA need to go after these groups and JAIL them for terrorism BEFORE they strike! The Bush doctrine said that "no longer will we sit back and wait for them to attack us". So what the hell are we waiting on? We should be rounding up these people and sending them to detention camps NOW!

KevK wants proactive law enforcement. Guilty until proven innocent.

Have you seen the comments and goals of the new FCC Czar, Mark Lloyd. He thinks the 1st Amendment is "over exaggerated." Here's a link that describes his plan

CNSNews.com - Inspired by Saul Alinsky, FCC 'Diversity' Chief Calls for ‘Confrontational Movement’ to Give Public Broadcasting Dominant Role in Communications (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/53055 - broken link)

This is one of his comments in the article:

“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press,” he said. “This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.”

Until discovering this, I wondered if I was overly concerned about Obama's actions--perhaps he does have the best interests of the people in mind. Not any more.

Wow, very interesting link.

The article also states that Lloyd wrote in his book:
Quote:
“We must build a confrontational movement to reclaim our democracy, a movement committed to active and sustained protest against the present order.” CNSNews.com - Inspired by Saul Alinsky, FCC 'Diversity' Chief Calls for ‘Confrontational Movement’ to Give Public Broadcasting Dominant Role in Communications (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/53055 - broken link)
Also:
Quote:
To do this, Lloyd draws on his experience lobbying the FCC during the Clinton administration, counseling would-be revolutionaries to follow the tactics used by other left-wing movements, such as the followers of Saul Alinsky and the people who ran the campaign to block Republican Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork. CNSNews.com - Inspired by Saul Alinsky, FCC 'Diversity' Chief Calls for ‘Confrontational Movement’ to Give Public Broadcasting Dominant Role in Communications (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/53055 - broken link)
If you read articles where Lloyd discusses his book, he certainly makes some valid points and concerns.
However, the mindset of what should be done and what the final results should be is certainly disturbing.

So, once again, the "powers-that-be" support liberal movements and actions.
However, the actions of those who do not support the liberal views are vilified.

Pretty scary stuff.

A rapist is also motivated to "fight for what they believe, no matter how unpopular it is," many criminals will go to great lengths to destroy whatever or whoever stands in their way.

Its amazing how motivated some people can be, believing that God has declared they are superior to all other people, and those unlike them deserve death, but it is not something to admire or emulate.

Oh, God, no! We all know that the only good terrorist is a "CONSERVATIVE TERRORIST". If anyone's going to terrorize our country, it better darn well be the conservative branch of terrorists or nothing at all!! That's what it sounds like to me. How about that we stop acting like idiots and realize that just because citizens in our country have a difference of opinion does not automatically mean that they are evil or terrorists.
