Oh please, pay now or pay later; nursing home expense and abuse is a major issue in this country, could you afford to pay 15k per month for an elderly parent who needs assisted living???????????????? That is what it cost me in 1997....I still have a pending lawsuit against that horror factory for inferior care.........healthcare is reeling out of control in this country and no one wants to see it,it is the top cause of personal bankruptcies in this country.

Okay it was your family right, I just took care of my mother at home. It's what you do when you have to. It's called love.

Healthcare today and then what ?

Now there's talk of "retirement reform" so that "everyone" can live a decent life after retirement. This is because over 1/2 of working people have no pension and have little to no savings in their 401K.

They didn't save. So groups are looking towards the government for "reform".

Retirement overhaul: 401(k)s may not be the answer now - USATODAY.com

How smug of you. For many reasons, that did not work out with my mother.

So all these big banks will give out billions in bonuses. The fat cats on Wall Street are happy.
Joe Mainstreet hangs on by a thread. More job losses each month. House values continue to decline.

What do you think would happen should this turn into a double dip recession ?
We already know who the government will rescue and it won't be us, the taxpayers.

How much more do you think Americans can absorb before something snaps ?
How much of their hard earned money can they watch go *poof* yet hear on the TV "Good times right around the corner folks" ?

Look at the quotes from 1929-1934; the denial that anything was wrong with the economy is obvious.

Everything you said was fine. Until you mentioned dogs and cats living together. How depraved!
