Yea, you say that..but if they go 14-2 no WAY you will be satisfied with anything less than an SB appearance..

Anything less than an SB appearance is a FAIL..for all teams. For a team that is number 1 seed, its a bigger fail. You cant tell me you'd be ok with a championship game loss AT HOME.

They was 4-12 last year and have a rookie at QB and RB which means I am not expecting a SB WIN. it would be nice but I don't want to put that kind of expectation on a rookie QB. A failed season would be if they lose the 1st playoff game which is something romo did three times. So if Dak can play well enough to come just short of the SB in his first year then it only gets better after we move forward

Tell me that when they are in the championship game and its the 4th quuarter. If you think Dak is going to assure them of great chances every year, see the SF 49ers. They thought they were golden for years to come. Didn't happen. Take a page out of the NY Giants hand book. When you get there, win You may not get back.

^^This. I think our rookies are performing much better than anyone anticipated and barring any serious injuries the future looks very bright indeed. The only concern for me is the defense....we give up way too many points and yards in almost every game. Even though we won against the Redskins, Cousins had way too good of a game. And no pass rush to speak of. I, too think the Cowboys should be able to get to the NFC championship game, and that in itself is a huge improvement over the past few years. I am however proud of this team no matter what happens, and look forward to the next draft and season....hopefully we get some defensive help at the necessary positions.

What an odd mentality. I guess 20 years of losing does that to you. This is your chance GRAB IT. No team is as strong in the NFC as Dallas.

Thats because the niners or Giants QB doesn't have the skills of Dak Prescott. Kapernick is a awful passer who always looks to run instead of finding the open man. Eli has no mobility and always needed to be well protected in order to play well. Dak on the otherhand knows how to buy time so receivers can get open, throws the ball out of bounds or takes a sack to avoid throwing a INT, and only runs if he really needs to which is always his last option. Now are you telling me a QB like that is not going to be back in the postseason next season? Any NFL team with a QB who does not make mistakes and has two ways to beat you will not lose many games. So I feel it would be foolish to me to be mad at Dak for not leading the team to a SB win. And I honesty feel if they do lose a game in the postseason it will be because of the defense.

Any fan wants to see their team win the SB but you have to be realistic and realize this team has a rookie at QB and RB. All I want Dak to do is play well enough to reach the NFC championship game because they will completely erase the Tony Romo era.

Eli has 2 rings ...and before you say it was because of the defense they won, look at his playoff run numbers. Off the charts..knows how to win when it counts. Dak has been great..so was RG3 his first year.

Realistically speaking the team is 11-1 . Rookie qb or not.. will likely have home field though out..you EXPECT a loss? If Giants don't make SB season is a FAIL. And they are not as talented as Dallas right now. I guess winning makes fans have higher goals.

patronizing? I'm saying you should want an SB APPEARANCE. Anything less is a FAIL.
