Seattle Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy and program for non-PED substances, a league source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Thurmond is expected to begin serving his suspension, which was earlier reported by NFL.com, some time this coming week.
Thurmond's suspension would further deplete a Seattle secondary that already is without star cornerback Brandon Browner, who is expected to miss a month because of a groin injury.
The 26-year-old Thurmond has 31 tackles this season and played well last week in Browner's absence, returning an interception 29 yards for a touchdown in Seattle's victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
Seahawks looked awesome. I thought the Saints would give them a better game, but they were annihilated. Looks like the Hawks are the team to beat in the NFC.

can't argue that. I kept waiting for the Saints to make a move.... something...

Same here. I kept waiting for Drew to go "Brees" on 'em in the 2nd half. Didn't happen.
There's something about that stadium man. My goodness, the 12th man is real. Now of course the fans probably aren't any louder than other team's fans, as its mostly the acoustics of that place. But when they get hyped up and start going nuts, I can't imagine how that doesn't take its toll on the visiting team. Besides just false starts. The advantage Century Link Field gives the Seahawks is borederline unfair LOL.
If that game is played in the dome in NO or a neutral field, I bet its a much closer game. But with Seattle most likely to get the #1 seed, I can see them easily winning out at home and skipping into the superbowl.
