are you one of these people that puts your dog in clothes?
Nope, he's a greyhound so too big to wear clothes, though he does have a coat he wears when it is cold outside. The greyhound rescue group I adopted him from told me he needed it because they don't have much fur. I have been known to dress up my cat from time to time though (he hides when I do this).
1) Never date single mothers. Dating equals porking.
-Too much of a risk. She already made one mistake and some guy is paying out his ******* for the next 18 years of his life. Probably paying vaginamony, also known as alimony and/or child support. Also the kid will always remain #1 in the relationship. You will always take the backseat. Although single mothers may seem to be "easy," you don't want to deal with this baggage if all you want to do is bang. There are plenty of chicks out there without children... including in Seattle believe it or not.
I'm a dude. I'm in my 30's. I own a home, have a great career, make great money etc. So I am ready for kids. But I rule out most single mothers because in my age group they typically don't want more kids besides the ones they had with somebody else. I wouldn't mind having someone else's kids in my life because I love kids, but I also want to have my own. So if a single mother doesn't want more children she doesn't have a chance with me. And this is most single mothers in my age group from what I have seen.

They're probably afraid of being left again with even MORE responsibility.
That could be it. Or maybe we're just too old to be having kids I don't know
I hope it happens for me though as I would really like to raise a family.
I don't think it's too old, but if I was a single Mom right now, I'd be EXTREMELY hesitant of having any more because of the fear of the dude leaving me again. A guy did it once before, why wouldn't he do it again?

Well, when I pet a dog I just sort pat them on the back, or scratch them around the shoulders, because when I pet cats like that they love it. But when I do it to dogs they give me this look that says, "You...you've never done this before, have you? Well, nice effort, anyway." I don't know, maybe they actually like it and I just don't interpret their facial expressions well.
The dog may of liked it. Many times a dog will love being baby talked to. Usually pets on the head, behind the ears and their rump.
I do know from having a male cat that he hates his rump touched.
If that's the case then that's on the single mom not the guy. She should be cautious because she can't trust her own judgment.
