Women:

How much of a difference does balding make when you consider dating a guy? Does it make him a lot less attractive to you?

I’ve never really asked, but I’ve been wondering about this a lot lately. I’m 27, and in the last year I’ve had thinning (only around the crown area) and a small bald spot has appeared. I'm in great physical shape and I've been told I'm handsome by women in my life - but I don't feel nearly as handsome anymore. It’s just starting to really get to me and I find myself wearing a baseball cap almost always except when I’m at work or sleeping.

Please share your thoughts and opinions…

Bald is sexy! I don't like long hair on guys, so military style haircuts, or no hair at all is my preference. One of my previous "loves of my life" started going bald shortly after high school and when I dated him, when he was in his early 30's, he had very little hair left. He used to say his head was a solar panel for a sex machine...I think he was right

Doesn't bother me any. He's working with what he has been given and it's a part of aging.

My boyfriend has a small bald spot on the back of his head and I still think he's gorgeous.

Bald is sexy, and yes it is a solar panel for a sex machine.

I work with a young dude who is bald and he is pretty sexy I must say.

Course I have my hair down my shoulder blades.

I'll takes my chances on the solar panel thing.

Bald is cool! Just don`t try to hide it by parting it in the thin areas!

Ladies, "bald" may be "beautiful", but he's not saying he's bald. His hair is thinning, maybe he's got a widow's peak, or a receding hairline. I've still got plenty of hair, myself, but I've had people think I was going bald, because I have a high forehead.

Are you suggesting we just shave it clean off? Instead of keeping what hair we DO have?

I love bald. No problem. Yes...if it is thinning a lot, and receding, absolutely BUZZ IT OFF!!!

But take off the baseball cap. That's much worse!!!

He told you what he had. Some thinning on the CROWN of his head.

OP, try some propecia (sp?), a buddy of mine had the same issue and it grew right back in 6 months or so. If it's your hairline, it won't grow back though. Good luck, bud!

Balding doesn't bother me. Toupees, hair plugs, wigs or really bad hair peices do. I say be natural and work it.

My fiance shaves his head totally bald (seems to be a growing trend) and I can't even imagine him with hair. He is sexier this way.
