There is a persistent myth about atheism that goes a little something like this, “There are no true atheists . . . you’re just a bunch of petulant children throwing temper tantrums.” Theists tell me that we are not using logic and reason to refrain from believing in the magical claims from their book. We are just angry at god and upset because he won’t give us a Ferrari and so we stomp and whine about how much we hate sky daddy.
Face it, you can't be an atheist if you aren't angry.
I certainly have read and heard from some that leaves me with the same impression but what you are saying is another example of broad-brushing which is only done out of extreme ignorance
If you don't mind being seen that way, keep it up
Face it, you can't be an atheist if you aren't angry.
The only thing that angers me is the length that people will go to in their quest for willful stupidity, and only because these are the people that are the cancer in society with their hatred, bigotry and delusional views.
The programming of religion has never allow the believer to develop critical thinking skills and now lack the ability to think critically and rationally about the claims their religion make they, in turn, become hostile towards all threats against their religion. This manifafests itself in many ways such the ever ongoing attempt to remove real science from the class room and replace it with the pseudoscience of fairy tales. To impose the raging ignorance of some aspects of religion upon everyone through changing laws.
Atheists cannot stand by and simply let this ignorance go unchecked just because we don’t believe in god. None of the gods of religion are a problem, it is the ignorance of man that believes in them that is the problem.

Sure feels like it when you have to crash every single thread with "this isn't real" and "it's all in your head" and "I'm not surprised you believe in this myth" etc. etc. If it's not a temper tantrum, why do you feel the need to assert your beliefs constantly? Why not just let people be?
