There is a reason politicians like Huckabee, who operate through the same political deception machine, sent their personal Decepticon liaisons in to help the Duggar camp after the first sex scandal let-loose earlier this year.

The removal of sentences and tweaking of words is part of their whitewashing m.o.
It's part of all propagandizing. Including that contained in the bible these phoney folks pretend to live by.

The new statement is actually better in a way ... pornography is not the issue here and that was just confusing to even mention. It seemed like a transparent attempt to blame it on addiction which is beside the point here. The removal of the "re-broken trust" phrase is more spin doctor-ish though.

Also the original post's link is broken. It's unusual for a blog post to not use a permalink. My guess is that this is just computer ineptitude though. It's still the most recent post on Mom's blog. Here it is for those who want to see it in its new draft.

I don't see it as better because this way, it can be taken as maybe a one time indiscretion rather than an ongoing thing as with the porn .

A one time, two year long, dual account with premium upgrades for additional support from Ashley Madison.

Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him.”

Insider reveals how Josh Duggar's wife is handling news of his indiscretions

Josh Duggar's wife Anna 'partly blames herself' for him using Ashley Madison site | Daily Mail Online

"The 27-year-old - who shares four children with Josh - will likely 'on some level.... absorb some of the blame' for her spouse's cheating and addiction to online porn, a Duggar family insider says."

Something I've been pondering ever since the first scandal hit the press: for years there has been speculation on the snark forums over which Duggar would be the first to break free. I'm beginning to wonder if it might end up being Josh. At this point, I think the Duggar lifestyle has had the most negative impact on him, and I think moving to the DC suburbs and seeing normal secular people living productive lives without the confines of conservative christianity probably rocked his world, not to mention going from living in near poverty to fame and excess. I wonder if he might be the one to throw his lousy parents under the bus and do a tell-all. Ironically, he might actual garner some sympathy.

His wife bears no responsibility for his behavior and actions. None.

Porn addiction and a Cheat-On-Your-Spouse membership is the presenting problem. There are deeper issues here. He need to find a secular therapist. He should stop the public confessions, and get some help. His parents should stop making public statements about their son.

I imagine he did lots of "research" on gay sex. Lots of pictures, with a smattering of health stats.

Much like the fundamentalist ideologue researchers here.

The statement has been revised several times. A reference to Satan having a fortress in his heart was also deleted.

I'd guess the highly-paid spin doctors, employed to salvage the Duggar brand, were busy monitoring public reaction and editing the statement as needed.

Yes, but through her training, she has been taught that it is her fault.

She is expected to be a breeding machine, raising dozens of kids at once to expand their god's army; exhausted with no sleep, up all night taking care of sick kids, maintain a clean home, cook all the meals, have time to bathe herself, wear makeup, do her hair, and look fancy for her husband in the middle of all this slave-style child rearing. She is expected to work the equivalent of multiple full time jobs, 24/7 and be there at all times to satisfy her husband sexually, regardless of how sick, tired or physically ravaged her body is from repeated back-to-back pregnancies and childbirth tearing her up and wearing her down.

People who breed animals like this are called cruel, inhumane, and labelled factory farms and puppy mills. Places where the animal's wellbeing is not taken into account because breeding as much as possible with unhealthy successive births is the priority. With the Duggar's this is the goal and considered an achievement.

I remember when Michelle, the mother, took the girls aside and had a talk with them about marriage. Her "sex talk" and marriage advice equated to telling the girls that they must be there for sex at any time the husband demanded it no matter how exhausted they were.

I am sure that Josh's wife is 100% blaming herself for his sexual perversions; she has been trained since childhood to do so. The same way the victims of his pedophile sex crimes are taught in their educational church books to self-blame by examining their code of dress and behavior to see if they were acting as a temptress to men, causing them to be raped or sexually assaulted.
