She refused heterosexual weddings. It was her way of making a statement. She is a bigot. But, just as I surmised, the antis on here are going nuts to support her, telling us there is no double standard. It's sickening.
The difference has been explained to you in detail - it's not our fault that you're not intellectually capable of comprehending it.
Marrying people is a CHOICE for judges..... not a job requirement.
So..... fail. Again. If it seems like a double standard to you it's because you obviously know little about judicial duties. She is not required to perform marriages.
So then the ONLY reason you oppose Kim Davis is because it is a requirement of her job? Seems like there is always an exception when the shoe is on the other foot like the gay bakers refusing to make a cake for Christians.

Take a Pepto Bismal. Barfing all over your computer is not a good thing. If the keyboard is filled with vomit you won't be able to use it to complain about the LGBTQ community. And then you'll have to find a new hobby. Which would deny the LGBTQ community a lot of free entertainment.

“I use it as my opportunity to give them a lesson about marriage inequality in this state because I feel like I have to tell them why I’m turning them away,†Parker said. “So I usually will offer them something along the lines of ‘I’m sorry. I don’t perform marriage ceremonies because we are in a state that does not have marriage equality, and until it does, I am not going to partially apply the law to one group of people that doesn’t apply to another group of people.’ And it’s kind of oxymoronic for me to perform ceremonies that can’t be performed for me, so I’m not going to do it.â€
She refused ALL wedding, and it is an option for any judge in the state to opt out of doing weddings. Just like the Oregon judge that is CURRENTLY refusing to marry anyone because he doesn't want to marry gay. It is optional not a REQUIREMENT of the job.

What gay baker refused a cake they offer to christians?
Since she now does opposite sex marriage she must no longer be a bigot. As it was not a requirement of her job and she was not performing any marriage ceremonies how is she breaking any laws?
I am wondering if a judge does not perform any marriages because SSM was not legal is a bigot even though she now does them because the law has been changed is a bigot, what does that make a pastor that will not perform SSM?
When are the fundamentalists on this forum going to follow the ninth commandment? They seem to want to force others to live by their literal intrepetation of the Bible, even when it is vague or contradictory but seem to not to want to follow that one commandment which must be one of the easist one to obey. Yes, not murdering might be the easier still but the 9th is very simple.
Another epic fail from the self-proclaimed pastor.
You think it's a non-issue when a bigoted judge refuses to marry heterosexuals? I guess I'm not surrpised.
