Well she is now gladly marrying those same people that you think she is bigoted agaisnt so I guess she can be considered repentant and the slate is clean

She did not marry anyone and now she is because the law changed so her part in a protest maybe worked. As she was not required to perform marriages at all she would be allowed to protest the law the way she did and that is not bigotry. Again isn't there a commandment or at least a suggestion from your God about bearing false testimony?

Maybe I am wrong and it only applies to non Christians.

She is not required to perform marriages at all. Do you have any proof that hoards of couples were seeking her in particular to get married?

She does not issue the license.

What about these judges, one of whom was REQUIRED to marry couples during that period?

The judge did not have to perform any marriages, for anyone. And for a while, she did not - for anyone. The reason she did not was to illustrate a point.

It is no surprise at all the point escapes you.

So you think it's ok for a judge to refuse to do a job duty because she is an anti-heterosexual bigot. Gotcha.

She refused to marry anyone because she couldn't marry gays, so how does that make her a bigot?...

No. As is often the case, you misrepresent situations, like your oily guru.

The "duty" was not a duty. It was, and is, an optional aspect of her job description.

What I do think though, is some Christians, even some alleging to be pastors, cannot see past their blinkered bigotry to gain a true understanding of situations.

I feel terribly sorry for the sheep in their flocks. They are being led dreadfully astray.

Officiating weddings is NOT a job duty for judges in Texas. It is an OPTIONAL part of the position.

Do you know what OPTIONAL means?

It's not just the fact that she chooses not to perform an OPTIONAL duty..but she is doing it because of an emotional, bigoted response toward heterosexuals.
