As His children, it would be very odd if we were NOT special to Him.

That seems to be a very prevalent human desire, but it is only of human origin, IMO. The consciousness I encountered had no such preferential or conditional acceptance and love. We were ALL ONE and equally loved so I am in the camp of no special or chosen ones.
Really? I don't think God would call it arrogance for us to recognize that we are, in fact, extremely special to Him.
Scripture says otherwise about us in our natural state. I know it's inconvenient and you don't like those Scriptures, but again...it's what the Bible says.

The Bible absolutely does NOT say that we were born deserving of damnation. Period. It simply doesn't. It does, however, say that we must become "as little children" in order to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
You think those that are at war with God and children of Satan are children of God? Really?
Because until we are born again, that's what we are.
Speak for yourself, BF. I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father, who loves me, and I love Him. I never have been at war with God and I have never been a child of Satan.
Stupid AND disgusting AND insulting to our God-given intelligence.
