The rain didn't last for too long this morning but will be back in a couple of hours so the flash flood watch remains in effect until tomorrow morning. With the skies clearing and the temp rising we are now under a tornado watch until 10 pm as well as a high wind advisory until the early am with the likelyhood of straight-line winds up to 70 mph. Last time we had such winds we lost power so I think I'll go grab a shower now while I can.

Even with all that it still beats living in earthquake country in my book.

I'm just now realizing my name is no longer suitable.
I'm certainly still old...older, I fact, than when I adopted the name but I don't think "cold" applies anymore.
It didn't again today but even though the temperature is the same as yesterday there is a lovely breeze so I am able to do without the AC.

Well, if you do change your name be sure and tell us your new name so we'll know it's you. That way you can pick up where you left off without explaining everything. (trying to think up a new name for you)--old_bold? old_mold? No, mold doesn't sound too good.

How about Older but Cooler 'cause I'll bet that you are way cooler now than when you were in your twenties.

LOL O_C, we had the a/c on last night, too. RE your name, not old_not cold, perhaps?

Zug, stay safe, I hope the winds miss you.

MMoB, is this the first time in Belize? We see buy Belize real estate ads up here all the time. I don'y know if I could handle living off of the mainland here......

old_not cold was a thought, CCc
Old & hot was dismissed immediately as false advertising if misinterpreted
old_bold was given consideration , especially considering the infractions I've received here.

old_nolonger_cold?

Small earthquakes are fun - think crazy house at the carnival.

Big earthquakes are - um, "interesting" (since nothing that causes death and destruction is fun). E-ride at Disneyland.
