So much for your theory.

Maybe Taveras benefitted by not having parents rich enough to pay off his victims, so he had to fly straight, unlike Buddy.

Obviously whatever the social strata of Taveras' parents, somewhere along the line he learned that it was fine to get his girlfriend pregnant. He also thought it was fine to have that news plastered all over the news.

And, took his merry old time before deciding to marry her. In Sandsonik's world, having children out of wedlock when you are a public figure is okay. LOL!

Most folks would call that "having no pride" and being a MAN.

You have no idea what's ok or not ok in sandsonik's world, so don't even try to guess.

I didn't even know that about Taveras. Not optimal, but quite the opposite of indulging in violence.

You can stop wasting everyone's time with nonsensical personal insults; it's a matter of sworn testimony from Buddy himself that he cheated on his wife.

I didn't read his book so Snowball will have to tell you if he addressed that in his book.

I read both books -- Stanton's and Buddy Cianci's own book. There are sources of factual information other than books. Tavares hasn't written one about himself yet.

There are many low information voters in RI; that is exactly why the state is in the sorry shape it's in now, has been for years, and likely will continue as such.

Then you're aware of the sworn statements.

Have you seen those statements? Are/were you privy to the case?

The grand jury transcript is a matter of public record. Here, for example, is a newspaper article from the time.

The Day - Google News Archive Search

Are you going to claim that the Associated Press simply fabricated an entire transcript, including direct quotes? And that neither Buddy's lawyers at the time nor Buddy himself at any time since has made an issue of a national wire service outright fabricating a transcript, which even if you think the media are full of spin, is an easily verifiable fact that Buddy's lawyers could have disproved in public the very next day?

Of course they will! These creatures aren't interested in the truth, they simply want to spout off with fabrications and innuendos, and when that doesn't work, they (very) personally attack those who DARE disagree with their fabricated, imagined version of history, and of morality.

NY Times writes a negative article about that pervert, Cianci? NO PROBLEM! Just dismiss the NY Times a as "rag." Mention that the NYT has won 114 Pulitzer prizes, and they attack the Pulitzer committee. Same with the Daily News, the Providence Journal, Mike Stanton, the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal. They, you see, they are the ultimate authority, in their weird, dark and sort of scary alternate universe. I mean, we're talking Bellevue time here.

So, yes, they will dismiss the testimony given under oath to the grand jury, and instead, as one poster claims, "was there" when Cianci tortured DeLeo. Imagine the brass ones to make a such a provably false claim. But, doesn't stop them. It goes on and on -- they posit that "they were there," or "they know the players." They will lie and fabricate and smear anyone and anything to advance their kooky, factless notions. And that's why I choose not to engage them any longer. They lie. they smear, and they just aren't worth the digital ink. Plus, they don't even live here and have never lived in Providence, so they don't count anyway.

But bluster on! Oh yes, they will, with all the effect of spitting their own vile sputum into the wind. I pay them no mind -- they have all the veracity and character of a street thug on drugs.
