i've heard good things about jersey mike's off of 151 . looked at the website and it looks almost like a franchise .
any recommendations ? the pricing looked well enough but the images of the hoagies makes them look real 'light',
like they were made at subway .

Jersey Mike's subs are excellent. A little pricier than Subway's, but worth the extra cost, IMO. Also, when you're over that way, Luciano's pizza is very good.

Default Waiting for that Steak & Shake to open near the Rim

Steak & Shake owns the land at 1604 and 10 across from 6 Flags...It's been a sign for months say that a restaurant would open soon. Any rumors as to when? San Antonio is their headquaters now. They are leasing space at across the highway at Eilan.

Actually the Steak & Shake coming soon sign has been up since late 2010/early 2011, so over a year at least.

Default Romo's

I think it only FAIR to educate those of you that have bought groupons or other deals of the day that Romo's does NOT live up to their coupons. There was a Groupon recently listed for "dinner only" that was NOT honored at dinner "time" but was excluded to "dinner fare" on their menu but not listed correctly.

I only mention this because IF you have specific "restrictions" (which you have the RIGHT to do), they should be listed CORRECTLY in the coupon......just sayin.

Default Small pizza from EZ's?

The small 7" pizza is 38 square inches. (Cost $5.50)
The large 11" pizza is 95 square inches. (Cost $8.75)

The large is 2 and 1/2 times bigger than the small.

Small = $0.14 per square inch
Large = $0.09 per square inch

What do you think?

(EDIT: Figures have been corrected)
