We used to eat some type of Indian dish in the UK that was so hot it gave a whole new meaning to the phrase 'Smoking Crack'.

Simi's on Fred. Road, next to Babe's is nice. It all tastes fresh and delicious, especially the naan.

Mela's buffet is good, I just wished for more variety, less vegetarian but I'm a carnivore. Still very tasty food. And it's actually quite nice inside.

Really liked India Oven.....although they put a local spin on the food. One dish my son ordered was actually served like fajitas with the sizzling platter. It's very good food, though.

Now I'm craving some chicken tikka masala.

India Palace is good! They have a some awesome vegetarian dishes on their buffet line. I go to this place most.
Mela is good as well and has more meat dishes than vegetarian on their buffet line.
Indian Oven was very good as well.

I second Simi's. I love the lady that works at the cash register. She is always so nice to me.

Great food, great times.

Completely off topic, but since ya'll are discussing outside of 1604/Potranco I am going to ask. A man handed me a flyer today for Nemo's which is by Wal-Mart I believe. It looks like a ton of variety. Healthy options and not too pricy. Have we been there before or are looks deceiving? Sidenote-I avoid Potranco at all costs. Nothing personal.

I've heard good things about Nemo's...probably heard them on this forum Anyhow, what I heard was that the food was good but that they needed to clean their fishtank that's on display in the restaurant. I don't eat seafood so I haven't tried them.

Staff and owner are extremely friendly. Definately go!

Might you mean Melas??? It IS excellent Indian food and has a buffet I think every day. Great place to enjoya little sample of everything.
