Dat's a hysterical over-reaction you got there, Doc.

Doc, please tell me you have done heard of Posse Comitatus.
In addition to possibly violating the Posse Comitatus Act, I don't know if it would work. I think about the current situation. Joblessness. Relatively high dropout rates. Poor schools. Broken homes. High out-of-wedlock birth rates. Anger and resentment. A military occupation cannot solve those issues. As long as there are conditions for gangs and drug dealing to flourish, not even a Fallujah-style occupation would work. If the army were to land in parts of Oakland, it would basically have to stay there permanently because gangs could always come back. This stuff is cyclical.

I believe in locking people up who have committed crimes. You do the crime, you do the time. That being said, I also believe that in order to solve problems such as crime, we much understand that the crime is merely part of a much bigger problem. One must address the other issues that come along with crime, such as the issues I just mentioned.

Westwood (Los Angeles)
Hancock Park (Los Angeles)

That's just off the top of my head.
