Here's the problem. You haven't read all my posts because if you did you would realize that I have more positive posts about the area as those that are critical. The ones that are critical are ones that you already agree with as far as cost of living. So really you need to get your facts straight. So really I am no more against the area than you are.

Perhaps you need to look at yourself with all the conflicts with other posters, even those that like living in the Area. To answer your question, I too wanted to know about the negative reputation Piedmont has that you claim a lot of people posted. Apparently they didn't. You got called out on it because you couldn't back it up. It seems you know less about Piedmont than I do.

I wasn't going to post anything in this thread since I had nothing to say since I don't live in San Francisco. But you opened it up by disparaging Piedmont with incorrect information.

I’m not ‘against’ SF or the COL here; I’ve simply stated I understand it, and I understand how it brought SF down to an overall rank of #7 from #1 in desirability. You are correct, however, in that I haven’t read all of your posts nor am I interested in jumping into your desire to squabble over something as trivial as forum politics and alliances (so I won’t address the other issues in your post).

The topic is not Piedmont, per se - it’s reasons why those of us who live in SF (and the Bay Area) love it. So I’ll steer the boat back in that direction since you seem to be wandering in order to personally insult people.

There’s not much to think about - I’m only familiar with posts I’ve seen of yours in a few other SF threads (and they usually involve personal jabs and off-topic arguments, same as this one). In fact, you got angry at me before for ‘picking and choosing’ what I read; you felt I wasn’t being thorough enough. I simply agreed with you. Again, I’m not interested in your squabbles or your forum politics, which I’m well aware. I’m interested in discussing SF - and adventures in sailing! So if you have something pertaining to the thread to add (for a change) - great!
