Few weeks ago this thread was raving how strong Portugal is. Now lots of you starting to write them off.
I couldn't care less about who is going to qualify or not, but am hoping for Greece NOT to.
Can't stand their negative approach, idiotic fans and their enormous luck.
Portugal is one of those teams which struggle in the qualifiers but do much better at the actual tournament. I can't remember the last time they qualified with ease. Sweden is a very decent and organised team and when Ibra is having a good day, they can cause Portugal a lot of trouble. I predict a draw in Portugal and a win for Sweden at home. A bit of it is wishful thinking (like I said, I don't want to meet Portugal in the WC) but it's not that far-fetched.
Believe me when I tell you, Romania has had about a dozen bad years, not just a couple - I should know, I'm Romanian and I pay attention - I think most of the time they're terrible.
I always encourage return of "golden-past" teams like Romania and Hungary, I heard that politicians
passively affected Romania team after George Hagi's era; what do you think?
Do you agree that Romania's current squad lacks experience? Aren't Mutu, Chivu and Pancu
essential?
P.S. I was really eager to see Norway and Hungary qualifying to regain the good past; Every real soccer fan wanna see
Puscas and Tore Andre Flo reborn again, all the world remembers the 50s Hungary and 93-98 Norway.

I hate the uefa playoff draws.
I was hoping for Portugal vs Romania
Greece vs France
Croatia vs Sweden Ukraine vs Iceland
Teams advancing in bold.
Instead the 4 strongest teams end up playing each other. The world cup is suppose to have the best players and teams looks like it won't.
I know, it's a shame that Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Ribery might have to watch the World Cup at home while teams like Ecuador have already booked their tickets to Brazil. It's not fair, why do European qualifiers have to be so hard?
Don't worry guys, I just found out that UEFA made a huge mistake in determining the teams for the play-offs! These could not possibly be the teams to face potential elimination from the WC. I mean, look at this:
Ukraine 9-0 San Marino
San Marino 0-8 Ukraine
Sweden 2-0 Faroe Islands
Faroe Islands 1-2 Sweden
Romania 4-0 Andorra
Andorra 0-4 Romania
Portugal 3-0 Luxembourg
Luxembourg 1-2 Portugal
Greece 2-0 Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein 0-1 Greece
They all have a perfect record against the group minnows and they still haven't qualified? How is that possible? I thought all you had to do is beat the likes of Luxembourg and San Marino in order to qualify from UEFA
