Santa Maria, CA (pop. 102,000): 6 murders

Salinas, CA (pop. 155,000): 4 murders

Yeah i see what your saying.Were on the same page but just have different opinions,And actually Los Angeles hit 1000+ 3 years consecutively starting in 91 & also hit 1000+ in 1980 believe it or not.

Chicago & New York i would say are more comparable because they're both older cities that deal with organized crime mobs.Chicago caught fire in 2012 & been hot ever since. New York is more controlled by the police because of terrorist attacks but still has some of the most dangerous areas in the nation.

If any city needs help right now it's Detroit, The population is only around 600k & the murder rate is through the roof.

Chicago and Newark are seeing big spikes. Some smaller cities are seeing increase in shootings but homicides are the same.

Wow so Santa Maria,CA has more homicides than New Orleans currently, that's unheard of lol. I guess all the bad guys finally took each other out in that small city. Only so many thugs to kill and thugs to be killed.
