2018? Jeebus.

Well, I must say, I like this MUCH better. More retail, and I like the water feature in the little park/plaza. The apartments look a lot better too. Especially the part facing the Metro.

A few things wrong with the recent article.

Quote:
On Tuesday, Wood Partners broke ground on 4700 Berwyn House Road, a 275-unit building — 60 percent of which will be studios.
Wood Partners broke ground on that project last year. Not Tuesday.

Quote:
Monument Realty recently delivered Monument Village at College Park, with 235 apartments and 4,800 square feet of retail.
This project has NOT been delivered as clearly it is still under construction and unoccupied by human beings.

Quote:
A 150-key Cambria Hotel is under construction at 8321 Baltimore Ave.
The Cambria hotel is NOT under construction. The CVS next to it is. Cambria isn't expected to break ground until after the CVS has been constructed, but perhaps not yet open? Fuzzy on those details. They are separate buildings that were never going to be connected.

So in 2018 this and the South Campus development will start? By 2020 college park should be on a great path.

They certainly are making a push for that date. A great many projects will be completed along Rt. 11, on campus, and in College Park before 2021. Perhaps the New City Hall will be completed by then too.

Hopefully by 2021 the first phase of the innovation district, which I believe is mostly on the engineering fields on rt1, will be complete or at least under construction. And the Phillips gallery should be started by then.

Not at all. It is east of the Riverdale Park Station project on the east side of the train tracks. Basically it is in a commercial zone (M-Square).
