Happy cows come from California....
I grew up in Wisconsin but have lived in Florida for a few years now. I always get a chuckle when I see the California cows commercials where they are clearly bashing Wisconsin in some of them. As upsetting as this is, my friends in Florida still make fun of me since California is clearly dominating in their advertisements. The point of this post is that I don't understand why Wisconsin is sitting back when this is the perfect opportunity to create a cute "comeback" commercial bashing California cows. Whats the deal Wisconsin? Its time to REPRESENT!!!!
Sorry to rant, these are just my thoughts I wanted to share.

Wisconsin does not have to bash back as ask people all over where the best tasting cheese comes from they will tell you! Let them waste money, people who know cheese know where the good stuff is from. Wisconsin milk marketing dollars are better put to good use elsewhere.

What makes cows happier? More abundant sunshine like the commercials proclaim? Get real, California. Dairy products from WI are far superior, and California's stupid attempt at getting people to buy their products is ridiculous. The reason the cows are "happier" (er, at least appear to be) in California is probably from all the marijuana and meth lab fumes in the air.

They are clearly mocking the cold weather and Wisconsin accent in the commercials. I think PETA sued the people behind the ads for false representation of how they treat their animals. Most are actually commercial facilities where the cows are actually packed like sardines and are probably miserable, if cows have the mental capacity to be miserable.

I've seen the commercial and I recall fond memories of my visits to California. When it comes to cheese I buy (mostly) Wisconsin and Vermont cheese. I always demand Wisconsin Cheddar and Vermont White Cheddar.

I love those commercials, they're very funny! And we only buy Vermont cheese; DH was very disappointed with the WI cheeses that he tried once we got here. I don't eat cheese so I don't have an opinion on any of them.

I am from Illinois but have been living in WI for some time. Actually Wisconsin and Illinois cheese is very similar and good. Europeans have the best cheese (mostly family farms not commercial and they have been doing it longer)
I think the commercials are hillarious!! and cute. I am not a cow obviously but after getting another 2 inches of snow last night on top of the record breaking piles still covering the ground, I WOULD BE HAPPIER IN CALIFORNIA. When will this winter end?
