It's this same woman who always manages to ask me a question by coming to my desk expecting an instant answer. Even after I told her to just send me a email when she has a question she still comes and ask me directly. Do you agree it's better to just send a email if you are looking for answers to a work related question? Now this doesn't apply to your supervisor but when it comes to a coworker they should not be coming to your desk. And anything that you are being asked is going to require some researching anyway so why not just send a email?

Agree or Disagree?
It becomes a matter of preference. Some people avoid email, feeling like email is too impersonal. Others avoid face-to-face intact, feeling email is more efficient. I suspect there is a direct correlation between whether a person is an introvert or an extrovert. Face to face interactions are more draining for introverts and more energizing for extroverts. There is no absolute right answer (except in our own minds)

Exactly. This way you can't prove that she keeps having to ask you questions. You do have the right to ask her to send her questions in emails, though.
I can tell you why.. because TOO Many people have ignored her emails..
I use email and if i don't get a timely response, i will call... i work at home so walking over to their desk is out of the question!
Maybe she just likes to be personable. It is funny how so few people talk face to face now and find it irritating. She'll probably start a thread about a coworker that doesn't like to talk in person.
