The poster wants to stop people from sitting on porch steps, talking loudly all day and night:
So what I was thinking to do is go over to the steps at night, when they are gone, and pour some sticky substance all over the steps. I was thinking a syrup that will attract aunts and make it uncomfortable to sit on the steps.
