Posted 08-06-2008 at 05:19 PM by Pam& Bill

It is hard to believe that it has been 6 days since we moved from Tn. to NC.It has been an adjustment for Bill and I and also the friends we moved in with.

To give you the adjustment level we're talking here, think of the Odd Couple. Bill and I are Oscar, our friends are Felix. Out of necessity due to our disabilities our standards have slipped or rather relaxed in the past 3 years. With us, something is always laying around waiting to be put away at a later time when one of us has...

Inland Water And Little Lakes

Posted 08-06-2008 at 04:51 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Creations of earth do get amazing, don't they? Depending on where you live, it seems like more and more people are developing fancy, new neighborhoods, with many new homes, designs, and landscaping. To go along with that, something else is included in the mix. Developers these days sure do have wild obsessions with small lakes and canals. I've seen them popping up in new locations throughout Texas, including where I live, the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They're seemingly everywhere...

The visit

Posted 08-06-2008 at 04:06 PM by Siobjuan

Ohhh, so excited!!! My oldest brother moved to Germany 22 years ago. Large schism in the family. My sister doesn't have any kids, so she's been doing day trips with her. I have a 16...

Updated 08-26-2008 at 07:31 AM by chipparmelly

Allen, Carrollton, Garland, McKinney and Richardson made Money's 2008 list of America's best small cities to live in. In fact, McKinney is 14th on the list, Carrollton is 15th, Richardson is 18th and Allen is 20th. What an honor! This just confirms what those of us living in the Dallas suburbs have always known; this is a great place to be. For information on the criteria used and how the selection was made, click here.

Life is great here in Texas!

How Important is PRICE In This Slow Market???

Posted 08-06-2008 at 07:06 AM by VickiR

People ask me all the time...how important is price? Sellers do not like to hear it, especially in a slow market, but price is more important now than it has ever been.

Why? We have an oversupply of homes on the market. More supply, less demand equals lower prices. No, we don't have the "bubble" that Florida and Calif. had so we have no bubble to burst but we do have ALOT of homes on the market. We also have less buyers due to the slowdown in the areas that they are...
