Just like Avalon, this development is only walkable in the sense once you drive and park at the development. It provides no good ped connection to surrounding roads (because there is a lack of a grid). This development treats Circle 75 as a back alley and makes it not inviting for anyone walking along the road.
Also, the bridge over 285 can be removed from the renderings, because it will not happen.
The Battery Atlanta | Braves development at SunTrust Park
Odd for a team that lacks batters

Except for that 10-mile difference, sure thing

I think the conversation was about taking a train specifically, not just having access via bus.

The Georgia State train station is 1 mile away.

Sure, it will dump tens of thousands of more cars into an area that already suffers from congestion. Great improvement.

You have to wonder why the vast majority of fans drive to the game now.

Bus is still transit.

The vast majority of people drive everywhere in this city. Why would it be any different for sportsball facilities? The fact is the train is a good option that is available for those who choose to use it. None of your riddles can change that.

Don't think anyone would deny that transit access could be improved to the Turner Field area. But the Braves moving to Cobb is much worse for giving their fans access.

The Streetcar / Beltline transit is suppose to go right through the Turner Field site. Building that would be a fraction of the cost of the new stadium in Cobb.
