It's always interesting how people will believe anything except the Bible. It's a shame.

Eleven posts had to be deleted because you people were calling each other Satanic, obliquely if not directly. You all know that is not permitted, yet you chose to reply instead of simply reporting the first post that needed moderator attention. You can't expect us to find every problem post. In this case, we got bored with this thread weeks ago and quit reading it. You have to report problem posts.

Thread reopened. Behave yourselves.

What is more interesting is how people can ignore the OBVIOUS perfect agape love and forgiveness of Jesus on the Cross just because MEN tell them that they must believe everything our ignorant primitive ancestors wrote in the Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God. It is amazing that they actually believe that the God Jesus revealed on the Cross would ever have wrath and vengeance for ANY REASON!!!

Wrong, it is faithful, Holy Spirit teaching to teach that He died in our place in order to satisfy the need to perfect the collective human consciousness to connect it with God upon our physical death because we were "missing the mark" (sinning) and no one had succeeded. Jesus succeeded and abides with us as the Comforter with the collective human consciousness to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts." His perfect agape love and forgiveness (Grace) provide the cover for our imperfections ("missing the mark").
This is the teaching of Christ on the Cross.

You would deny that God has emotions concerning that which displeases Him.
The reality is that He does have emotion concerning such things; even wrath and anger;
Wrong. God has emotions but they are all described and were unambiguously demonstrated by Jesus on the Cross as agape love and forgiveness. I have posted the list of states of mind several times and you ignore them. God does NOT have the emotions that are the result of human psychological weaknesses from the marriage of our spirit with our animal nature, such as wrath, vengeance, anger, jealousy, envy, greed, and various lusts.

And also, that His justice requires that men suffer the exact penalty which is due for sins that they commit against Him;
First, punishment does nothing to provide justice for the victims and it is a poor deterrent. God's Divine Justice WILL provide actual justice and balance the scales for all concerned, perpetrators and victims alike.
Quote:
Wherein, after they have been cast into hell, they will continue to sow to the flesh and therefore will reap accordingly, the addition to their punishment that is due for that they continue to sow to the flesh. For, because the sin nature isn't dealt with in those who are not born again, they will continue to add sin to sin and therefore to that which deserves punishment so that the just penalty for their sins is, in fact, everlasting fire (Matthew 25:41, 13:41-42, 13:49-50, 25:46).
This product of your wrathful imagination is preposterous. There is no reptilian brain of the flesh to generate the sinful nature and sin is not eternal. The Divine kolasis will remove the dross from all spirits and eventually render them compatible with God. It will take different lengths of time with each person that is why it is aonion.

So, Mystic, you believe that God has warm fuzzy feelings towards behaviours that cause men to blaspheme His name?

I believe that you do not know the God of the Bible and that you have created an idol for yourself in a god of your own imagination that does not exist.

God has said in His word, I AM THAT I AM (Exodus 3:14).

And the disciples received Jesus as He was into the ship, in Mark 4:36.

We do well to receive Almighty God as He actually is rather than trying to change Him by believing that He is different than He really is.

He is not going to change for you simply because you have a different view of Him.

You keep saying that despite being told repeatedly that my beliefs about God's True Nature are from JESUS CHRIST on the Cross. You ignore that truth and insist on pretending it is all my imagination. I believe that God has displeasure and disappointment whenever we fail to become who we are supposed to become.

It surely saddens Him, but there is no anger or wrath in Him, certainly none that needed to be appeased by a bloody scourging and crucifixion so He could forgive us for "whatever." Forgiveness is easy for God. It is an essential part of His infinite nature. There are no conditions on it.

Jesus' death on the Cross exhibits that God has wrath against sin.

For God poured out His wrath on Christ instead of us when Jesus died on the Cross in our place (those of us who believe in what He did for us)

The Penal Substitution theory is fallacious. Of course, you have no problem with that of crucifying the innocent with your Scapegoat Psychology/philosophy. Although, you may have some issues with displaced aggression?

The doctrine of Penal Substitution is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

By calling it fallacious, you are denying the gospel that alone can save you.
