I know. I didn't see that typo until much later. But thanks.

Default To Mystic

Mystic, please consider what it says in Matthew 4 and in Luke 4.

There, Jesus responded three times to the temptations of satan with the words, "It is written..." and then He quoted scripture.

Now, if we do not take the whole of the Bible to be the word of the Lord, how can we do the same thing? The devil will just say, "But that scripture isn't really inspired because it does not line up with the agape love of God."

How can you argue with him? There is no reason why 2 Timothy 3:15-17 and 2 Peter 1:19-21 does not line up with the agape love of God, and yet you, Mystic, in your theology, have to deny that these scriptures are the reality; because they destroy your theology that relies on the idea that the whole of the Bible is not the word of the Lord.

Even though there is no reason why you can say that these scriptures do not line up with the agape love of God, yet it is your contention that they don't...because if they do, the entire Bible is the word of God...and that destroys your theology.

So, anything is fair game as being defined in the word as "not lining up with the agape love of God".

So, whatever scripture it may be that you would utilize against the devil in spiritual battle, he can just say that "that scripture does not line up with the agape love of God" and then that scripture has no power in your life to fight against whatever lie satan is trying to tell you at that moment.

But if the whole of the Bible is the word of God, and we take it as such, then we can use any portion of it to fight against the lies of satan; and satan cannot discount it to our minds; and thus we will have victory over the lies of satan.

I do not believe that you are beyond hope if you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit by calling biblical doctrine, "doctrines of devils."

Read 2 Samuel 14:14 and then Acts 3:19. Jesus offers you the equivalent of forgiveness now. But you must be converted.

You are wrong. I believe that 2 Timothy 3:15-17 and 2 Peter 1:19-21 ARE definitely compatible with the Holy Spirit of agape love. But your inference that we have to consider everything written is inspired without checking it is not just wrong, it is dangerous. It is what keeps your heart under the veil from reading Moses and the OT. The old wineskins (beliefs) that were good enough to hold the old wine (our ancient ancestors' generations) belief in God are not safe to hold the new wine (modern generations) belief in God.

That is not true. IF it lines up with agape love then it is fine, but if it does NOT line up with agape love and forgiveness of God then it is NOT from God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit, period.

That can always be claimed, BUT as long as it DOES line up with the Holy Spirit, then it cannot be argued against by anyone! There is no need to rely on everything being from the Holy Spirit because we have the absolute standard in Jesus on the Cross for what does and does not line up.

That is the lie of Satan that you have believed by inferring things from different scripture but nowhere did Jesus ever say, nor does the Bible ever claim for itself that EVERYTHING is infallible and inerrant and uncorrupted by the flaws and frailties of men. By REFUSING to make sure what is interpreted from what is written lines up with the Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness revealed by Jesus Christ on the Cross, you corrupt His Good News Gospel.

I believe that if you ever realize that Jesus Christ on the Cross is the ONLY reliable source of truth about God, you and your knowledge of scripture would become an awesome evangel of Christ! Unfortunately, with the veil of wrath over your heart from reading the OT and Moses you are more of an evangel of Satan, IMO.

The original proponent of the Jesus seminar.

(where they had a council to determine what in holy scripture was actually said by Jesus and what is inspired by the Lord; based on their own human reasoning and thinking).

It is a lie of the enemy that the whole of scripture isn't the word of God.

That is the bottom line.

The devil loves your doctrine, Mystic, you are serving him in being a proponent of it.

It helps him in his primary tactic against the saints in that he will often say, "Hath God really said...?" (see Genesis 3:1-5).

It is a major aspect of the first lie that he told in the garden.

Your doctrine helps the devil to tell that lie, that is all I have to say about it.

It appears that you are more into self-deception, which is defined as the act of lying to yourself or that of making yourself believe, something that isn't really true.

I have to give it to you, Jerwade, you have mastered the use of the word "lying."

With each post you have demonstrated your skills in the knowledge and use of this word!

instead of their own human reasoning and thinking they SHOULD have been using the unambiguous revelation of God's True Nature and Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness as their standard of truth and inspiration by His Holy Spirit!

From what I can see of the effects of that belief, IT is the lie of the enemy because it absolutely corrupts the Holy Spirit of God with the lie of God's eternal wrath and vengeance on His own children.

I see the exact opposite, JBF. Your unjustified and fallible belief in scripture without testing the interpretations against the Holy Spirit of God perpetuates the LIE that God is or ever was angry with us in Eden for learning our very first lesson of many lessons in the Bible. Utterly preposterous.

God certainly does not exhibit wrath or vengeance on His own children.

But His children are those who are born again spiritually and not necessarily those born of Adam.

Exclusivist nonsense. No one is "born again" while still alive as a physical being. What you keep calling being born again is actually being "conceived by God" as a spiritual embryo, a spirit fetus, that has to grow and develop to spiritual maturity while here in a physical body.

So all of us who love are "conceived by God" and none of us are "born again." The more you are in the states of mind of agape love, the more your spirit feeds and grows. The more you are in the opposite states of mind the more it starves and withers.

I John 5:13

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

I know I have eternal life and I say to you who says " No one is "born again" while still alive as a physical being," thou hast a devil and teach the things against the scripture!
