Yes there is! When it comes to Holy Writ, one is the norm, while the other isn't. See Nehemiah 8.
It could. It could also cause the reader to fall into error and misunderstanding.
People reject Truth all the time for all kinds of reasons.
Yes, I’ve had an occasion or two where I’ve flatly rejected the “Truth” as preached from the pulpit because it wasn’t true. Not everything the Priest, Pope, Bishop, Preacher, Pastor or Minister says is always true. These people aren’t God. They are fallible mortal men subject to the same temptations and sin as you and I.

Agreed. No individual is protected from error at all times. However, the Church founded by Christ cannot err in her official teachings.
In 1939, after two centuries, the Holy See re-assessed the issue. Pius XII issued a decree on 8 December 1939, authorizing Chinese Catholics to observe the ancestral rites and participate in Confucius-honoring ceremonies. The general principle of sometimes admitting native traditions even into the liturgy of the church, provided that such traditions harmonize with the true and authentic spirit of the liturgy, was proclaimed by the Second Vatican Council (1962–65).
Shhhhhh! Don't force Alabama Mike to read stuff like that!

Yes they can. Mortal men are running the church. They replace their will for God’s will and it goes down hill from there. No church or religious denomination is exempt from being corrupted from within.

There is only One Church. The Church is run by Christ, though He has delegated His earthly authority to mortal men.
How do you interpret Matthew 16:18?
"...and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

I don't know about the church founded by Christ (nobody really knows what that church would look like in this day and time), but the Roman Catholic Church can (and has) certainly err in her official teachings. The Vatican has changed official church teachings numerous times.
Limbo has never been an official teaching of the Church. It's always been speculative and Catholics have always been free to either hold to it or reject it.

Next?
Well it was when I went to Catholic school. I even got in trouble for questioning it.
