I wouldn't say more sun is necessarily a good thing. I prefer a rainy/oceanic climate myself.

If you want to eat anything besides ribs, doughnuts, and frozen yogurt the food in DFW sucks. The steakhouses can be OK.... But if you like a good variety of Teriyaki, Chinese, Thai, Indian food etc... then you're going to be SOL in DFW. The customer service in DFW can be very spotty and saying that it's better than most other places in the U.S. ain't saying much...
I said more than A THIRD. You did all of that underlining and bolding for nothing.

You don't know what you're talking about. That's all there is to it.
Aside from Texas King in Plano and Spice N' Rice in Richardson any good Indian food is grossly overpriced. The few times that I had good Chinese food in DFW was from this place in Plano whose name I can't remember and this place near Roanoke whose name I also can't remember at the moment. DFW does not have a good variety of ethnic food and no fair minded person who's traveled would say that they do.

I've only visited Dallas once for a few days and the one thing that sticks out in my mind was that there was food everywhere. People planned their whole days around food and there was a restaurant every 100 yards on the freeway. Food. Food. Food.

These peoples opinions of Dallas on here hold no weight. I'm really getting the sense these ppl never been to the area. A lot of untrue claims being made.

Lol if having only 63% of the votes is your definition of winning by a landslide then I suppose there's nothing I can do to change that. I would not recommend a career in politics, though.

The bashing keeps going on. I'm not understanding why some people in Seattle keep dissing Dallas? You must have a thing for us, if one can't let it go. Oh btw there's one thing Seattle can't compete and that's Texas women! Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders ect.

Umm, no one is going out of their way to bash DFW. This is a Dallas vs. Seattle thread, so it stands to reason people would give their opinions on which city they feel is better and why, so your, "You must have a thing for us" comment is without warrant.

And no, generally speaking the women in Dallas are not as attractive or fit as the women in Seattle, especially if you like Asian women
