Socorro, New Mexico or Klamath Falls, Oregon?
Socorro. Would prefer NM. Santa Fe NM or Topeka KS?

Santa Fe. Better architecture, cooler vibe, better politics.

Curve ball time:

Santa Fe, N.M., or Lawrence, Kan.?

Not disparaging Lawrence, or Kansas, or the Plains,
but I'd choose Santa Fe over any US city east of the Rockies...
it has a lot to recommend it.

Wenatchee, WA or Idaho Falls, ID?

Idaho Falls for the Snake river trails and museums. I also like its location better.

Reading, PA or Bowling Green, KY?

Definitely Reading. Don't know a ton about Reading specifically, but PA has possibly the best small cities of any state, and I'd get the proximity to Philly as well.

New Orleans, LA or Carson City, NV?

Carson City by a long shot. I love it out west.

Rochester NY or Louisville KY?

Louisville. I like what it has to offer, and Rochester gets too much snow.

Pensacola, Florida or Dayton, Ohio?

Now into the 2 most dangerous neighborhoods of the nation's biggest cities
Hunts Point bronx, New York or West Garfield Park Chicago

Oooh! I like this one. I'd go with West Garfield Park -- mostly because I'm obsessed with jibaritos which are all over the nearby Humboldt Park neighborhood. As someone who grew up in the Bronx, Hunts Point has a convoluted history, but also isn't a place I'd never ever live in.

Kansas City, MO or Fort Worth, TX?

Both cities look good minus some rough areas but I go with Kansas City due to the BBQ/Sports teams.

Now into the 2 safest neighborhoods in 2 of the nation's murder capitals
Hi-Pointe in St Louis or Wyman Park in Baltimore
