1. Chicago is and always will be more modern than NYC.
2. Dementor has beat no one down. Notice how HE took a quick break from his account and switched to Euros for a little
There are more modern buildings in NYC than there are in Chicago. NYC has 4X more buildings than Chicago and common sense would verify that that there are more modern buildnigs.
Also, it doesn't offend me nor do I care that you think I'm Dementor.
This should settle this thread: As I said previously, take a survey. Mention the word "skyline" to anyone and what city will be the fiest to pop up in everyone's head?
Duh, New York City!!!!!
Nobody cares about second/third-tier Chicago besides midwesternerners.

Except for those who think of Chicago first, and oh, the American Institute of Architects.
The American Institute of Architects have the last word.
by Benjamin Schwarz
Affirming the evident, the American Institute of Architects recently judged Chicago the city with the finest architecture in the country. To take the obvious a bit further, Chicago holds more important buildings of the past century and a half than any other place in the world. And to look at it another way, Chicago's architecture constitutes one of this country's greatest contributions to modern civilization.

Yes, and after that let's ring Forbes up and ask which city is the most miserable in 2009. After that, we'll phone the Census bureau and ask them which major city was the only to experience negative population growth during the past few years.
You up for it?! I am! Sounds fun!!
