Can't believe we're getting a rain storm Wednesday. lol

And then.... another...Next Saturday 13th.. The 12z Euro making it look so similar to today. At least we know that's probably what won't happen

NWS Forecast for Danbury.

Monday and Tuesday morning look cold!

50s on Wednesday, Warm thereafter..

What's really weird is even down in northern Yonkers it looks like that but someone I know in Mount Vernon it's only wet and nothing sticking, just 5 miles further south. I don't know if there's something like that on CT coast vs a few miles inland or if all of CT is sticking snow similar to your picture.

3-4 inches in Bethel, wet, heavy snow. Likely just push the snow off to one side of the driveway, let warmer temps in the next couple days melt the rest.

I got mostly rain/1/2 inch on the coast, but for those like you that actually had some decent snow, waiting to remove it (if it's not in a dangerous spot for walking) is a good idea. By Tuesday temps will be in mid 40's F...and by Wed with rain and mid 50's F it should be long gone. Let nature do the work:

Maybe because Mount Vernon is closer to the Long Island Sound and on a larger macro scale, closer to the ocean as well. Probably makes a difference. Also parts of northern Yonkers is hilly and wooded.

Should we talk about this rain storm Wednesday?

The force of this track sends up a warm southerly flow to us.

BUT WAIT........... THERE'S ANOTHER ONE 3 DAYS LATER ON SATURDAY.
