I find it appalling that some of the blacks on this forum feel the need to stick up for the Baltimore rioters just because they happen to be black. Robbery is a crime, arson is a crime. There is no way around those facts. Essentially, you are sticking up for criminals just because they happen to be black. It's disgusting and appalling that you take it upon yourselves to defend the savage actions of a bunch of criminals just because they are black. Shame on you!
I was away for a few days owing to private issues but the events last night force me back. I need to vent. The rioters are simply opportunists and should be crushed with iron hands. To see police under attack, to see stores alight and US streets covered by police like it's a war zone.
I'm sorry to say but I did not see one white person in any of the news clips showing the rioting, looting, starting fires, jumping on police cars, throwing bottle at FF's trying to get to the fire scenes....
No, the police are the only problem. You are totally ignoring the fact that if the police had just acted professionally and arrested Freddie Gray without injuring him, today would be just another day in Baltimore, and people would be watching the baseball game right now.
Gray was fleeing when they took him down - if he was injured during that incident he has only himself to blame as he ran. If he was injured and not resisting arrest - then that's another story - but we really have no evidence of that.
The answer has to be a mix of better policing [less violence against blacks] and better parenting to stop so many blacks acting up.
Yea the news shows some teens looting a shoe store this morning... police came and arrested them
