So they call in cops to do it. Teachers shouldn't touch a kid, but the cops can. If you can't see how ridiculous that is I don't know what to say.

I don't think I watched it!

Of course, as someone pointed out to me in a rep comment, , the child's background and home life should be looked at before we stamp Spawn of Satan on their heads.

Love the assumptions going on.
How many of you know how big or strong the kid is?
Or how big or strong the teacher is (or isn't)?
How do you know what exactly was in that particular room (and not the rooms YOU know of)?

I don't know, but when I was a kid teachers never had a problem handling five year olds, or even older kids.

These aren't the good ol' days and a lot of things have changed. Do you thinks today's parents still act the same way your parents did? All the bad behaviors you see on youtube or whatever, does it suggest to you that things in our society are still like they were twenty, thirty years ago?

Heck, when I was in school (OK, way back when), even the Special Ed students weren't violent. Another feature of modern society, I guess.

I would bet he's going to be a criminal his whole life. He's off to a good start.

Even kicking, no contest.
Do they have a mental health disorder? I doubt this story is about a neurotypical child.

I am able to restrain most of my students perfectly fine. Every now and then there is a student who makes it difficult, especially when caught by surprise or when trying to quickly get them away from other students.

And yes, despite what some posters claim, teachers are able to restrain students and are even given special training on how to do so.

Or more likely, back when you were in school, these students weren't integrated into the classrooms. That doesn't mean they didn't exist or that modern society somehow created these disorders.
