We have an itty bitty budget & a lot of dreams, lol! That is why we are looking at manufactured communities, however, we really liked Spring Meadow & want to look at an attached inside unit so my husband can see (in my opinion) that the $$ is better spent in a manufactured home. Gotta show him the dreams, then the reality. We have owned 3 handyman specials....except for the little plot, I amnot moving again!

Roesville and Champion's Club are two different communities. Champion's Club is in Magnolia, DE right next to the Air Force Base. Roesville is a bit farther south between Felton and Frederica.
I looked at Roesville online & yes it's a bit out of our budget...thank you. The parade of homes looks like fun-great idea!

Have a good trip! Can't wait to hear all about it.

No oceanani.......we actually had a nice breakfast but I was puzzled as to what could of happened. Just figured it was a misunderstanding of some sort.

I know I"m not moving again either ocean.......No way no how unless I"m tagged and bagged. LOL

We also had an itty bitty budget that is why we chose SM. The homes at SM seemed to have more style for a manufactued home. The garage built on makes a difference in the appearance.
Spring meadow was not available when we looked.

If we had a little more money......roesville would have been our choice. I just love the homes there.

That is why we chose SM.......our money goes further. At this stage in our lives we did not want to be house poor.

trip is set-leaving NY around 7:30, stopping in at Longacre village "just to see"(hubby), then Spring Meadow, then the casino for drinks and.....Monday: Barclays, Wildmeadow, Fieldstone & Southern Meadows; maybe a quick ride to see Bowers Beach(is it really a beach?) Then drinks & pool & bed!Tuesday: Spencers, just to clear our heads, then looking at areas of house rentals for our son(7 in all, mapped & ready). If hubby hates all of the above, then he can figure out what's next while I gorge myself on seafood! Wed, hopefully, breakfast at country eaterie & home as it's work on Thursday! Whoohoo! can't wait!!

Thanks Charley-you'll be down soon enough! I hope within a year or less! Your comments & info on this beard have been priceless. But, the friendships, the kindness & generosity humbles me-coming from Long Island, we've grown kinda mean, impatient & angry....I hate it, hence the move to friendly territory!

Default Getting Excited!!!!

It's been a while since I posted, I have been to Asia on vacation/cruise and got terribly sick upon my return! I'm finally starting to feel human again, after over two weeks....

It's finally the end of March and I'll be at SM on the 26th to sleep-over and sign paperwork for my NEW home!! Planning to move in October or November. Can't wait to get away from Philly!

Excited? You can't imagine how excited I am!

Helen

Between us all, we've either been there, are there, or will be there. We know ... and we share that excitement with you.
