Sigh. Finally went to the doctor yesterday and got antibiotics. Snow storm coming, and the husband has surgery Friday - he'll be in the hospital all weekend. I don't need to be dealing with this right now.
But the doctor was fantastic! They tried to make me an appointment with the NP, and both my daughter and my sister say very negative things about her. I was probably a bit blunt on the phone when I said "no!", but got an appointment with another doctor in the practice that my husband has seen before - we both like her very much. She was fantastic! She gave me some great advice for some other issues I'm dealing with as well. I raved about how much I like and appreciate her to the front desk.
I did do a 24 hour fast yesterday from food. But I drank plenty of cranberry juice and ginger ale. Ate from 5-7 pm. Going for either 16:8 or 18:6 today! (for real - getting off the juice since I have drugs now!)
I lost the other pound that I gained last weekend.
Looks like I might not to have to wait until Saturday to make a record low. I'm even with it right now.
I cheated yesterday. I had one Lay's potato chip and one McDonald's french fry.
18:6 again yesterday - fasted from 7 pm - 1 pm, and then ate from 1-7 pm.
Happy Valentine's Day! I woke up to a present already! (I flippin' love my husband!)
Planning 20:4 today since we're having a CHEESE board for dinner! Oh yay for all the cheese! (I still have to figure out how to get my protein in today though....)
The usual... and a new record low. 193.8 lbs.
What's unusual is that it's only Thursday. Record lows are normally set on Saturday.
This may be a very good week...
20:4 yesterday - fasted from 7 pm to 3 pm and then ate from 3-7 pm.
It was a great Valentine's Day! I had a taco salad and the CHEESE! There was so much cheese - it was flippin' delicious!
Going for 22:2 today with 500 ish calories. I'll be in the hospital waiting area for several hours while the husband undergoes surgery. Keeping it simple.
4 eggs, fried in butter, over easy.
2 pcs of toast with butter and sugar free blackberry jelly.
A whole package of microwave bacon.
A small cup of peanuts.
One Atkins Chocolate Caramel Nut Roll.
A bowl of Raspberries.
A pack of Buddig Chicken and three cheese sticks.
That's quite a bit of food. Still weigh 193.8 and I'm not hungry this AM.
I lose weight on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, when I do my 600 calorie OMAD.
The other days I eat whatever low carb things I want, but do it within an eating window.
There should be a new record low tomorrow.
My blood sugar after eating was 212, which isn't much different from what normal people have after dinner.
But T2D's can't get it back down to a normal level without a little help. In my case that help is a shot of Lantus.
