Right. I'm sure that law abiding people have no problem being stopped for no reason and frisked on their way to work or to pick up the kids from school. I'm sure that law abiding citizens have no problem with the 4th amendment being trampled on either.

What matters is that people see Hillary/Obama as sympathetic supporters of those that tear down their cities - the law abiding citizens of NC are outraged. Many were scared in their homes or asking for prayers before driving home.

I wonder where their Republican governor is? Wouldn't security of a state be a state issue?

And if the person gets pulled over for a burned out brake light on the way home from work, and stops and puts his hands in the air per the cops instructions but has a bad hip and can't 'get on the ground' fast enough per the cop's order... then the person might get shot and killed because the cop got scared and thought the driver had a gun even when the person didn't have a gun. Or had a cell phone.

This is why both candidates' yammering on this issue is meaningless. Policing is a local matter - city and state. The Justice Department can investigate - but there isn't much a US President can do to correct local misbehavior outside the JD. Toothless political blather from both sides on a red meat issue. Trump can't do squat - nor can Clinton.

Check out the Charlotte forum - the questions are more like "what the hell is the democratic mayor doing...she looks lost".

Quinnipiac

Georgia

Trump 47%
Clinton 40%
Johnson 9%

Trump looks to have put Georgia away.
