Funny, that you say "most women don't appreciate government trying to control their lives" but forcing drugs on people with lies and coercion is very much accepted in the Democrat world. Thanks for the laugh.

Is not really about lies or controlling people because Democrats do the same thing they attack Republicans with, "control". Between the 2, the Democrat party is the party of bigger government and more control. That is a fact.
How about the Democratic plan for climate change?
How about the Democratic plan for 15%minimum tax for big companies?
How about the Democratic plan to build computer plants and bring those manufacturers here?
How about the Democratic infrastructure plan? Need a new bridge anyone?
How about the Democratic plan for Medicare to negotiate drug costs?
How about the Democratic plan to cap insulin’s cost to $35 for Medicare patients?
All voted without Republican votes.
The ONLY Republican legislation in last administration was tax cuts for the wealthy…

3.30 in NJ. Not so far from PA.
I don’t think most are complaining at this point.
5.50 would be a problem.

The fact that I don't like Rubio or any other politician that will vote to remove a woman's rights to abortion has nothing to do with Rubio's stated position on the subject.

He is opposed to abortion even in the case of rape or incest. Not much to like about that type of person imo.

It's like voting for President for their opinions on abortion. It's meaningless now.
Kavanaugh doesn't agree with you. See his opinion in Dobbs where he states its up to the people's elected officials in state OR federal govt.

Pro-choice women need to vote out Senators/Congress Critters opposed to abortion rights as well as those at the state level.

Who votes for state legislators? They don't fall out of the sky. Isn't that the purpose of the S.C. to take it to the people of the states to decide like they should have done in 1973? What's the problem?

Hello Kansas? Democracy works. Something it was prohibited in 1973.
The current R state legislators were voted in with Roe as a backstop to women's rights.

Women will now be voting them out of office over the course of the next few elections as a result of Dobbs.

When I said 'state representatives' I meant et al. Federal and state. Their 'representatives'.

It appears that republicans are backtracking on abortion with the most recent being South Carolina's abortion ban. I don't think they realized how much voters disliked their radical stance on overturning Roe and he subsequent bans that followed.

This will definitely hurt them in November even in states that allow abortion.

If it's not a ban then what do you call it. Being prolife doesn't mean you have the right to impose your beliefs and restrictions on others. We have already seen this in conservative Kansas. Women don't want government telling them what they can do with their bodies.
