How many women are there who say they would never have an abortion themselves, but do not want to force their views on other women?

BTW, I am in favor of letting the people vote themselves, not State Legislators. Hello Kansas! Be careful what you wish for.

It's like voting for President for their opinions on abortion. It's meaningless now.
Well yes they do as a matter of fact.
And some conservatives in congress want to do the opposite.

Who is forcing views on people? Is the question being ask in job interviews, get a bank loan, college admission?

Who votes for state legislators? They don't fall out of the sky. Isn't that the purpose of the S.C. to take it to the people of the states to decide like they should have done in 1973? What's the problem?

Hello Kansas? Democracy works. Something it was prohibited in 1973.

If Democrats had the votes they would have passed it since 1973 and not make up law in the courts. You know the procedure to pass a constitutional amendment? No country in the world has abortions as a constitutional right in their constitution. Democrats would love to pass it here but they never have the votes, so it should stay with the people of the states.

That is for every state. Who is stopping the state voters of putting it on the ballot and voting? This should have been done in 1973. A referendum should be separate from a regular election.

Gas prices in the Phx metro for example which were under $2 a gallon when I moved here in 2019 reached $5.50 early this year. Food prices have also skyrocketed.

The Jan. 6 hearings, Dobbs decision only go so far when the cost of food/gas continues to hammer voters.
Are gas prices still $5.50?

That is really high.
They are around 3.50 in PA. I filled up last week.
Not sure all the posters who think they know so much, spend much time in the state. And PA is a big state.
And they don’t seem know why the abortion question is difficult to get to “just let the voters decide”.
Hint- gop decides what questions get asked. And they don’t want this question to appear.
