I was meaning in a global context, not just for Finland in regards to airspace violations.
Our airspace yes.

I know all about the Bear hunts and the reasons behind the violations, but as I mentioned, twice in a day seems quite extraordinary, and in the most well-defended area in Finland. It's not normal testing to see if we are awake. Hope this has nothing to do with possible future operations in Ukraine. That's what I'm concerned about.

And as somebody will bring it up anyway, so: no, the US hasn't violated our airspace once this century. edit: sorry, yes, they have. So forget the earlier.

You cannot enter troops. Europe and the US are just that and wait.

Near the city of Volnovaha of Donetsk region militants Kolomoisky shot by soldiers of the Ukrainian army.

They write: "In a city hospital Volnovakha, Donetsk region brought 6 wounded soldiers, one in serious condition (a head wound is caused neurosurgeon with Donetsk) all soldiers draftees. And in district hospital (also in the city) delivered 20 soldiers with gunshot and knife wounds. The district pathologist said that there were 10 dead bodies, until they brought. According to the soldier, the helicopter landed, it landed armed people in black uniforms and opened fire on the soldiers. Now you can easily expect missile attack at night in Slavyansk and Lugansk. I'm more than sure that our media throughout accuse Donetsk National Republic. The majority of those military that stood at the post, were not going with anyone to fight. They openly stated that they consider the Right Sector and the national guard under illegal punitive organizations. "

Default Europe has defecated

The Commission recalls that the EU has always been a reliable market for Russian gas, and hopes that the gas contract with Russia and China will not damage relations between Russia and the EU in this sphere, said the press-Secretary of the EC Sabina Berger."We cannot comment on the deal third countries. However, I would like to recall that the EU has always been a reliable and attractive market for Russian gas. Therefore, we expect that our suppliers will remain as a reliable and responsible, and will respect the contracts they signed," said the representative of the European Commission

If Russia could absorb the east to Odessa, then the "dreaded West" would
arguably do Russia a favor by pilfering only western Ukraine, absorbing it into
Hungary and Poland, turning wheels in central Europe, and both do each other a
favor by diversifying their gas market partners, with Russia moving closer to
China and Europe closer to the southern Mediterranean and the US.

It's not over yet, it could still work out that way, we'll see.

The West doesn't want territory. It wants influence. Russia wants territory. They have the troops. The materiel. They're always ready to move. Rossiya frankly has the best travel agent in the country and is always looking for top accomodations.....hello Vladimir! Russia beleives in law yet flounts it irrespective of sanctions coming or not coming.
It is a truism with Rossiya...'Might makes right'. The US/Europe fortunately needs to be a check on ambition.

And frankly as to the current and future state of affairs in the region shared by Rossiya and Ukraine, again Ukraine will never get a minutes worth of 'peace' if the country 'splits' whichever way one deems it. It is not in Rossiya's interest to have a functional Ukraine if she looks west. If Russia did not respect Ukrainian sovereignity before it is likely she won't in the future.

It works both ways.

It is a truism with the West: we believe in law, yet we flout it when convenient, because might makes right. Russia fortunately needs to be a check on (the West's) ambition.

You know, during the Cold War we had an expression: in capitalism, man exploits man; in communism it's the other way around.

The West and Russia are in constant conflict because they are mirror images of each other, distorted, in all their beauty and horror, and it's been that way for some one thousand seven hundred years.

I'll be your mirror (reflect what you are).
