Well I'd suggest that when the opportunity presents itself Russia will take territory as occurred in the Crimea which was a great win for Russia a loss for Ukraine. At this point with events going on in the east where pro-Russians are adamant in mucking up voting there and with violence as we see I'm kind of pessimistic of Ukraine getting out of that situation intact. The pro-Russian bloc looks to making sure they'd be damn sure that voters who deem another 'way' will be cowed. Of course, I'd say Mr. Putin would not have any objection to that.

It's not a done deal yet but Russia slowly but surely is seeing a position down the road where the eastern portion will fall increasingly under their influence. If the Ukraine cannot control the region there with a good supply of troops then the advantage has to play to the pro-Russians. It appears they have all the cards to play there. Not sure how a country with two mind-sets completely and viruently at odds with each other will be able to exist. Right now, I'd say Russia has won the 'psychological' annexation of the east. Is the territory itself next? Well as noted it's when and if the opportunity presents itself.

People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the party "Freedom" Irina Farion calls Ukrainians to perform the feat, killing enemies.

Irina requires kill, kill, kill... this is so valued its "national consciousness" Ukrainian patriots. Irina require a repeat the feats of Ukrainian Nazi - Volyn massacre and other punitive actions "heroes".

Russia has to defend its interests. Compare how expanded their influence NATO and as expanded their influence Russia for the last 23 years.

If Russia does not regained the Crimea, after 2-3 years there would be a NATO base. And Crimea it is not only land area, but the most part of the Black sea.

Understand, the territory of Russia are not important. Its very much. More important area of influence.

Judging by the history of connections, the American company SOESoftware continues to perform direct control of the will of the people of Ukraine, leaving for himself the full (!!!) access to key network nodes to the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
