From what I read on this thread, I could get the impression that the militias in East Ukraine aren't killing anyone at all - that the Ukrainian "fascists" are doing all the killing and trying to blame the militias.

Maybe some people on here think the Ukrainians ought to thank the Russians for giving them the Holodomor.

militias? may be you speak about rebellians? Yes of course they didn't kill civilians, only Ukranian solders. Cause all civilians there someone's family of those who in DNR army. Fathers and mothers, someone's children, would someone in their right mind shoot to his father or children? Of course not. But for those who are in the armed forces of Ukraine are all strangers. Especially for people like Nola here, who hate Russian. And Donbas all Russian. Such peope have both motive and opportunity.

The Indians ought to thank the white man for giving them 'the Trail of Tears';
The Aborigines ought to thank the Brits for exterminating 90% of 'em;
The Africans ought to thank the European slave traders for shippin' 'em off to America;
The Russians ought to thank the Mongols for their invasion and 300 years of slavery, oh, and the Polish-Lithuanian invasions;
The Irish ought to thank the English for 'The Potato Famine';
The list of "ought to thank the" is endless...

You link Jozef Pilsudski with Hitler and Napoleon? A Polish hero who was trying to save his nation from the Soviets?
You don't know your history very well buddy. Here's a quote from your hero.

"All that we can gain in the west depends on the Entente — on the extent to which it may wish to squeeze Germany", while in the east "there are doors that open and close, and it depends on who forces them open and how far"

He tried to open a door in May of 1920. Polish forces attacked Ukraine and even occupied Kiev. He did it because he thought the Red Army wouldn't be capable of stopping him. He was dead wrong and his gamble was an utter failure.

He was a self serving, opportunistic politician. He sent good men to die for his gain and his glory. He was the lowest of the low, he was no hero. He's right down there with Hitler in my book.

If bad things happened in history, humanity should strive to repeat the atrocities of the past. Thanks for the "history lesson"
Did your mother have any kids that lived? If Russia doesn't stand up to the west history WILL be repeated. The goal of the west in nothing less than the dissolution of the Russian Federation, and war from the Baltic to the Pacific. It's all about the profits not the peace.

long article, but clearly states what's happening in Ukraine:
Is Ukraine a Proxy Western-Russia War? U.S. Weighs Arming Kiev as Violence Soars | Democracy Now!
"we are on the verge of war with Russia."...
"President Obama acknowledged the United States played a role in the ouster of Ukraine’s elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, last February."
