Finnish cheese and butter tried to be smuggled into Russia. Pics are from the Russian customs. Xaxaxa.
Ariete...
There are some of us that LOVE Finnish stuff ( some probably to the point of addiction)))
I know I'd be smuggling it into the US if I could.
And then there are some Russians who genuinely don't care for it.
( Finnish food products were discussed on Russian forums.)
Wow, Russian or not, if I'd be locked into a room with an animal abuser and a crowbar, that crowbar would be covered with that abuser's blood from top to bottom.
That first painting looks like photo-realism. It looks like a photograph!
Thanks for sharing!
Those first ones are examples of realist art from the Wanderers time of art in Russia, late 1800's. Repin is my favorite. Landscape scenes like this were common. The Tretyakov has the best collection of this kind of work, as good or better than the Dutch Masters in my opinion. Just seeing these makes me want to go back!

Humans are cruel creatures. I think those asshats need to spend some time on the taiga without their trucks in the company of bears and whatever comes their way. See if they have what it takes.

If people really want something they'll get it. I'm not familiar with Finnish food but I know a lot of it is very similar to Russian, pelmini is the one thing I remember eating that was Finnish. What I miss is Belarussian potato dishes. To die for.
