The Russian government runs the Russian Anti-Doping Agency, it is a state agency. They were the ones who allowed athletes to do drugs.

[quote=Zimogor;56834176]And if Serena Williams is on drugs, no one cares, do they? Because the very same WADA and allowed. Since 2016, about 20 athletes from the United States have been convicted of doping and disqualified, but the a_ssholes from WADA for some reason did not even mention the suspension of the United States from the Olympic games, because they know that they will be immediately destroyed in the literal and figurative sense. Utter hypocrisy.

The difference is the US athletes were not doing drugs on behalf of the US gov, the US gov was not falsifying drug results, and allowing athletes to compete knowing they were on drugs. Basically, it is an issue of state involvement versus no involvement.

Really? Many American, and not only American, compete in competitions taking legal doping and drugs under therapeutic exemptions issued by WADA and USADA. For example, team Norway cross-country skiing and biathlon a little more than fully consists of "invalides-asthmatics"who take funds from asthma, allowing to increase the respiratory load, and which are prohibited drugs, but for some reason you don't shout about it on all angles, and do not require the removal of Norway from the Olympic games.

Fancy Bears hackers have published the seventh of the documents of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). According to new data, more than 200 American athletes have permission to use illegal substances. The correspondence of US sports officials and USADA supervisor Matt Fedoruk was also made public, which mentions a strange case with the revision of swimmer Pace Clark's doping test.
Quote:
One of the published letters, in a copy of which appears Fedoruk, refers to the case of swimmer Pace Clark. The 22-year-old athlete is not very well known at a high level, but in his analyzes, as stated in the letter, an unacceptable level of testosterone was found - the indicators were significantly higher than normal. Clark was not imposed any sanctions for this excess. On the contrary, USADA was recommended to conduct repeated tests specifying the appropriate time of day so that the required indicators could meet the norm.

"Following her world championships win, she was considered a favorite to win the Olympic title at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. However, she was barred from competing when the CAS upheld their decision to ban the Russian Track and Field Federation from the Games for systematic doping.[9][10] At a domestic competition she jumped a height of 2.00 m—a height that would've easily won gold in Rio."(с)wiki

She never used illegal drugs. But the sports authorities deprived her of the gold of the Olympics. This is vile dirty geopolitics.

And it’s very sad that you support this.

I’ve heard more than once that Russia’s population is declining and that the country’s abortion rate is very high.

Then Russia needs to stop supporting cheaters, Russia has a systematic problem of supporting cheaters, just like East Germany did. Russia is probably not the only country, but it is still wrong non the less. And yes it is sad that innocent Russian Athletes get caught up in this, but maybe you should be blaming her team mates who do cheat? Stop giving the west ammo to shoot at you.

Any athlete or any manager should be punished if they breaks the law. But if there is no evidence of a person breaking the law, then punishment of a person looks politically motivated. Moreover, as I understand it, evidence is built on data bases obtained illegally. This is not an honest and correct court, this is a farce.

I already wrote this on another topic, but I’ll repeat it here too.
This is called "I see a mote in the prying eye, and I do not notice the log in my own eye."
